Migration Highways
27th August - 3th September2019
Migration Highways is a training course designed to explain and develop deeper understanding about migration in nowadays world. Couple of last years has shown how big the phenomenon actually is and that there's a big lack of knowledge among youth workers.
Migration is a crucial interest to young people whether they come from countries affected by in-migration or those suffering the consequences of emigration. Knowledge of migration processes, the causes and consequences of migration and rights of young migrants are relevant to young people’s needs particularly if they are likely to become migrants or participants of mobility schemes or if their home communities are
affected by migration. Competences in addressing migration in youth work are essential for building community cohesion in those countries.
TC is designed to confront the challenges and opportunities related to migration in Europe. By using different non-formal methods, causes and effects of migration will be analyzed.

SNGO2018
15th-22th Junuary 2019
During our past training courses, the various issues that organizations encountered were discussed, focusing on the financing problem. The
participants of the training course found that funding is just one of the issues that organizations face, and that partner organizations also have a problem with managing human resources (volunteers coming from organizations), the lack of skills of people who have set up and/or run the organization, lack of marketing and promotional skills, lack of knowledge about programs for which the organizations can apply and get money for their activities, lack of quality strategic planning in the
short and long term, and other problems. On the last day of the training course, a part of the participants began working on this idea, to train
the organization's representatives to acquire knowledge and skills that would help them create (self)sustainable societies, raise the quality of work within their organizations and provide them with a bright future in youth work.

Discrimination is a worldwide social problem and a common ground for individuals without the recognition of social statuses. According to the European Commission, accepting of diversity in the public sphere is increasing, but there is still gaps and differences between countries.
Although types of discriminations are different for all countries, the factors which cause all forms of discrimination arise from the same sources: the combination of prejudices and social power. One of the most effective methods to fight against discrimination in accordance with the Anti-Bias approach is to be aware of one’s own social power and power relations in the society beside the effort to get rid of prejudices. The main aim of the project is to focus on the awareness of these fundamental principles. The program makes use of non-formal methods, to create mutual learning and interaction. They will have elements of simulation games, group work, presentations, energizers etc.
